RIFF® Kit
The RIFF® Kit (Rapid Identification Friend or Foe) is a fast and reliable presumptive field test. This kit can produce results in less than one minute with more than a 90% accuracy rate. The RIFF® Kit identifies the presence of nitrocellulose and can therefore provide preliminary information on the potential presence of gunshot residue, TNT (pure, crystalline), Semtex 1-A (90% PETN and 10% plasticizer), COMP-B (60:40 mixture of RDX and TNT), C4, HMX, HNS and propellant from 105 mm artillery shells. ISID 2
